Weddings Parties Anything – Dessert Buffet

Have you come across a Dessert Buffet yet? Well they are incredible and its ridiculous people haven’t been doing them for years.

The Dessert Buffet is a banquet of cakes, chocolates, tarts, macarons and really any sweet that tickles your fancy, set up on a decadent display of deliciousness enough to make even the most devout savoury lover swoon.

The reason I am talking about all this is because I had the pleasure of working with Cathrin D’Entremont of CD Weddings to create such a buffet for her showcase “The Enchanting Garden”.  We had Parisian Macarons, Petit Fours, Vanilla Cakes, of course lots of chocolates all in pinks and silver.

Jappalin from Flower Talk arranged the flowers, Daniela Fego the photography and Derek Ho, the film.  Derek’s work speaks for itself and I encourage you to check out his films on his website – if you are even tinkering with the idea of a wedding video.  This has just chinked the tip of Cathrin’s iceberg of creativeness and there will be more to come.  Hope you enjoy…

Perth Upmarket

Sunday 27 June 2010

I hope to see all you lovely people I met at the last Upmarket and tantalise your tastebuds again – maybe you will try a new one…or two.

My latest chocolate: Lime & Tahitian Vanilla – A smooth and zesty ganache in a creamy vanilla white chocolate cup. Not too limey, not too sweet but oh so creamy…closest I will get to an island dream this winter anyway.

I hope to have two others for you as well – Cherry Noire and Pralined Pecan Bars.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Bridal Expo – Perth

12 & 13 June – Burswood Entertainment Complex

I will have a booth and be giving any information prospective brides and grooms may need about having exceptional and original chocolates for their weddings.

If you know someone that might be interested tell them to come down and sample a taste of what might be the missing ingredient to their perfect wedding.

Welcome

Welcome to my world of chocolate, I am so excited to be sharing it with you.

Eating and sharing food that sits you back and makes you stop and notice everything that is going on in your mouth motivates most of my cooking. I love it and think it’s a wonderful thing to give someone else. I would love to share this with you.

Originality and good taste is important when creating something new with something that has been around for as many years as chocolate. I did not realise that there were so many combinations yet to be discovered.

Anyway enough talk, thanks for joining me and I hope you enjoy every mouthful!
